Free Trees from Cornell University Extension

Have you lost trees due to the Asian Longhorned Beetle? You may be entitled to free trees.

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County (CCE-NC) is partnering with several agencies to work on the ALB Reforestation Project.

The US Forest Service has committed to funding the re-planting of infested trees that have been removed on private properties in locations affected by the ALB outbreak including: Amityville, Farmingdale, Lindenhurst, Copiague, Melville, Massapequa and Babylon.

Property owners in these locations are entitled to free replacement trees.
