Parade. Step off starts at 10:00 AM from the corner of South Bayview Avenue and MacDonald Avenue.  The Parade will proceed northbound on South Bayview Avenue over Merrick Road, north on Bayview Avenue, west on Avon Place, north on to Broadway, west on to Oak Street ending at the Main Firehouse where the Parade will disperse.

Waves of Hope, The Amityville Swim for Juvenile Diabetes.  Two mile swim along Amityville's shoreline to raise funds for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  Starts at the Narrasketuck Yacht Club at 10:30 a.m.  Ends at Amityville Beach.  Please come out to support the swimmers and everyone involved in developing this terrific event.  Rain Date August 18th.
