Small Business and MWBE Loans
Long Island Small Business Assistance Corp. offers a variety of relief programs, including small business loans related to the pandemic.
Town of Babylon Business Assistance
Town of Babylon and the IDA are providing Babylon Is Back COVID relief for businesses, and is administering $2.5 million in loans. A variety of other resources are available for working capital and to secure PPE including the Babylon Direct Support Program which will provide $3 million to fund grants to support businesses, local nonprofits and veterans groups struggling to recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Covid-Related Rent-Relief
The Long Island Housing Partnership has shared information on financial assistance for housing that is available to eligible renters who lost income during the Covid pandemic. See the attached flyer for details. NOTE: The application period closed February 1, 2021. Households impacted by COVID who are still in need of rental assistance should call 1-844-691-7368 or visit otda.ny.gov for more information regarding the Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance’s (OTDA) forthcoming, federally-funded Emergency Rental Assistance Program to provide rental subsidy to eligible households in New York State.
